that I don't like inking.  So I think I'm not gonna do it anymore.  Inking is for chumps.

Seriously, it's my least favorite part of the whole arting process.  Besides the fact that it's a pain in the ass to do, I'm almost never actually satisfied with how it comes out in the end.  Both traditional and digital inking have left me annoyed and dispirited and blah.

And I dunno, I think my traditional pencils with computer colors don't really look all that bad.  I could just call it my "style" or whatever, and then claim that anyone who doesn't like it just isn't "getting" it or whatever, thus staving off my own deep-seated feelings of inadequacy for at least one more day.

The other option would probably be to get someone else to ink my pictures for me, but folks probably wouldn't want to do that for free, and I'm pretty sure slavery is still illegal.  Catching someone and forcing them to be an inking slave sounds like too damn much work anyway, and I am inherently lazy.  Another possible reason why I don't like inking, perhaps.

So.  That's that.  No more inking.  Probably.  We'll see.
